Account Information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account.

Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with Quizorb, including quiz categories played, scores, difficulty progression, and session data. This helps us improve the adaptive difficulty system.

Analytics: We use Google Analytics 4 and Vercel Analytics to collect aggregated, anonymized usage statistics such as page views, session duration, and general geographic region.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

• Provide and maintain the quiz experience
• Adapt quiz difficulty to your skill level
• Track your progress, streaks, and leaderboard rankings
• Process payments for Pro subscriptions and in-app purchases
• Send you notifications you have opted into (e.g., Pro launch updates)
• Send recovery emails if you begin but do not complete a purchase (abandoned cart recovery)
• Improve our service through aggregated analytics

3. Payment Processing

Payments are processed by Creem, our Merchant of Record. We do not store your credit card information. Creem handles all payment data in compliance with PCI DSS standards. Please refer to Creem's Privacy Policy for details on payment data handling.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely on Supabase (hosted on AWS) with row-level security policies. We use HTTPS encryption for all data in transit. We retain your account data as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Google OAuth (authentication)
• OpenAI API (quiz question generation — no personal data is sent)
• Supabase (database and authentication)
• Vercel (hosting and analytics)
• Google Analytics 4 (usage analytics)
• Creem (payment processing)

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. Analytics cookies from Google Analytics 4 are used to understand usage patterns. You can disable non-essential cookies through your browser settings.

7. Email Communications

If you begin a checkout process but do not complete your purchase, we may send you reminder emails to help you complete your order. These emails are processed through our payment provider Creem. You can opt out of these recovery emails by contacting support@quizorb.com or by using the unsubscribe link in the email.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Export your quiz history
• Opt out of marketing communications

9. Children's Privacy

Quizorb is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware of such collection, we will delete the information promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on the website. Continued use of Quizorb after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
