1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Quizorb ("the Service"), available at quizorb.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Quizorb is an AI-powered quiz platform that generates trivia questions and adapts difficulty based on user performance. The Service includes free and paid tiers.

3. Accounts

You may use Quizorb as a guest with limited features or create an account via Google sign-in. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

4. Free and Paid Tiers

Free tier: Access to all 6 quiz categories, daily challenges, leaderboard, and basic progress tracking. Guest users can play up to 3 quizzes before account creation is required.

Quizorb Pro ($2.99/month): Unlimited quizzes, ad-free experience, advanced knowledge analytics, monthly streak freezes, and unlimited custom categories.

In-app purchases: Streak Freezes ($0.99 each) and Hint Packs (5 for $0.99) are available as one-time purchases.

5. Payments and Refunds

All payments are processed by Creem, our Merchant of Record. By making a purchase, you also agree to Creem's Terms of Service.

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly and renew automatically. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds for subscriptions are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact support within 7 days of charge.

In-app purchases (Streak Freezes, Hint Packs) are non-refundable once used. Unused purchases may be refunded within 48 hours.

If you begin a checkout but do not complete it, you may receive automated recovery emails from our payment provider to help you complete your purchase. You can opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the email or contacting support.

6. AI-Generated Content

Quiz questions are generated by AI (OpenAI GPT-4o-mini). While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors. Users can report incorrect questions using the in-app report feature. Questions flagged by 3 or more users are automatically disabled for review.

Quizorb is designed for entertainment and casual learning. Do not rely on quiz content for academic, professional, or critical decision-making purposes.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to manipulate scores, leaderboards, or the adaptive difficulty system
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Service
• Abuse the question reporting system
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code
• Use the Service for any illegal purpose

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

8. Intellectual Property

The Quizorb name, logo, design, and underlying code are the property of the Service operator. AI-generated quiz questions are provided for personal use within the platform and may not be bulk-extracted or redistributed.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free content, or specific learning outcomes. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via the website. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Seoul, Korea.
